Practice of bringing body, breath, and mind into balance. Class format is a unique fusion of traditional exercise with the ancient beauty and artistry of yoga postures. Challenging yet safe for all ages and fitness levels. Choices include Gentle Yoga, Yoga and Meditation, Yoga 101, Challenge Yoga, Chair Yoga.
Chair Yoga is a gentle form of yoga that is practiced sitting in a chair, or using a chair for support. Often the poses, or asanas, are often adaptations of Hatha yoga poses.
Pronounced (pronounced puh-LAH-teez) is a combination of low impact movements based on the concepts developed by Joseph Pilates to train and condition the body from the inside out. It is an exercise style that effectively trains and works the "core" muscles of the body and to create strong and lean muscles without the bulk. Our classes focus is on basic Pilates principles of awareness, breath, centering, concentration, control, flowing movement, and precision. Challenging yet safe for all ages and fitness levels.
Pilates Allegro Reformer
A Reformer is a resistance-based piece of equipment with a moving carriage that slides along a wooden or metal frame. Springs and ropes provide assistance and resistance, and exercises are performed lying down, sitting, kneeling or standing. Many Pilates enthusiasts prefer working on Reformers, which offer more resistance and support than a mat.

Art of Moving is a seated exercise program to increase flexibility, strength, balance, and coordination; improve communication, voice power, and speech clarity; delay the progression of Parkinson's Disease symptoms; and take steps toward leading a fuller life.

Parkinson Exercise ----- PWR!MOVES™
PWR!MOVES™ is a group exercise approach that specifically targets Parkinson's Disease symptoms of slow/small movements. Participants will learn how to use high effort, muscle activation for bigger, better posture, balance, and everyday FUNction such as walking, turning, rising from a chair, or floor, buttoning, and speaking. The activities will be tailored to overcome “real world” personal challenges of the participants. For those who are ambulate but need some support for different activities. Low-to-moderate level. Based on assessment, may be placed in class Level 1, 2 or 3.
Parkinson Exercise ----- PWR!MOVES™Circuit
PWR!MovesTM Circuit integrates skills learned in PWR!MovesTM into a more advanced gym workout. A basic knowledge of PWR!MovesTM is required to participate in this class. Participants are prepared for each station with a short warm-up prior to practicing the station exercises more independently under the guidance of the instructor. Station activities include cardiovascular, strength training, agility, coordination, balance, and flexibility exercises. The class ends with a cool down with focus on stress reduction and relaxation. For those who can ambulate without support and can work at a higher intensity. Moderate-to-high level.
Big Moves for Function and Balance
This class is designed for participants who have movement disorders, for example Parkinson's, Dystonia, Ataxia, etc. Participants will learn how to use high effort, muscle activation for bigger movements, better posture, balance, and everyday FUNction such as walking, turning, rising from a chair, or floor, buttoning, and speaking. The activities will be tailored to overcome “real world” personal challenges of the participants.
Participation criteria: Must be able to walk 100 feet on their own, with or without a cane or walker; and be able to get up and down from the floor on their own with or without the use of a chair. Participants must also be able to cognitively follow instructions independently.
Senior fitness -- Muscular Strength & Range of Movement
This class is designed for older adults. Exercises include work for all major and minor muscle groups addressing strength, flexibility, muscular endurance, balance, coordination, agility, speed and power.
Senior fitness -- Cardio Circuit Class
Cardio Circuit is an advanced group exercise class designed senior looking for more cardiovascular and muscular endurance conditioning and have experience with exercise activities requiring advanced levels of agility, balance and coordination. Cardio Circuit is a non-impact cardiovascular conditioning class presented in a circuit format with alternating resistance tool work and aerobic conditioning choreography.
Senior fitness -- YogaStretch
YogaStretch will move your whole body through a complete series of seated and standing yoga poses. Chair support is offered to safely perform a variety of postures designed to increase flexibility, balance and range of movement. Restorative breathing exercises and
a final relaxation will promote stress reduction and mental clarity.
Full body conditioning workout utilizing free weights,bands, tubing, etc. This is a great class for building strength.This complete workout isolates specific muscle groups with innovative exercises to enhance endurance and strength.
Total Body Conditioning
Class incorporates strength and cardio segments using equipment such as free weights, body bars, and bands for a total body workout.
Combination of 20 minutes each of cardio, strength and flexibility training.
