Through personal experience Therese understands the challenges, frustration and need for support when beginning and continuing a fitness program. In 2002, she took charge of her own personal health in the midst of a challenging, stressful, timeline driven workload, common in today’s corporate work environment. The benefits included increased productivity, stress reduction, increased positive outlook and a lost nearly 60 pounds. Therese’s success with balancing both her professional and personal life has spawned a desire to educate and motivate others to do the same. Ms. Abair provides a motivating environment that does not compromise safety or fun. This is accomplished by utilizing her attention to detail with some humor while maintaining the group dynamics within the class. Ms. Abair is CPR certified, insured and holds multiple fitness certifications and training with nationally recognized fitness certifying bodies:
She has taught classes at the nation’s largest fitness corporation as well as providing private and semi-private classes within the community and local businesses. Therese has taught at exclusive clubs and residential communities and sought after by high profile individuals. She stays on top of the latest fitness information through reading, taking CEUs (Continuing Education Units), courses and interfacing with other professionals in the industry. Therese and her partner, Jerry Jefferson, bring a distinctive style to their fitness programs at Living Fit Today, LLC. Their focus is to help each student reach their individual goals by providing an educational, safe and fun environment. Their work can still be viewed daily on half hour exercise programs currently aired on WPB TV Channel 18 in West Palm Beach. Some of her selected fitness accomplishments are:
